Open House
Full-Depth Reclamation with Cement
Thursday, April 8, 2010 - 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Grady County  (Old Hwy 179) - Cairo, Georgia
An 11-mile section of Old Highway 179, beginning in Whigham, GA and ending near Calvary, GA (close to the GA-FL border) is currently being rebuilt using Full-Depth Reclamation (FDR) with cement. FDR is a process that recycles the road "in-place" using existing roadway materials and adding Portland cement and water to create a new stabilized base ready for resurfacing all while under traffic.

Please join us for this project Open House where you can see the process in action and obtain more information on FDR with cement and its benefits. We will begin with a one-hour presentation followed by a catered BBQ lunch, and a jobsite visit.
